Mel Gravely is an entrepreneur and has owned businesses since he was 13 years old.  He is currently the President and CEO of TriVersity Construction, the 7th largest commercial builder in the Cincinnati region.  Gravely is a native of Canton, Ohio and is the founder of the Institute for Entrepreneurial Thinking, a think tank focused on improving the results of minority business development efforts.  He is the author of eight books including his latest, What is the Color of Opportunity?:  The New Realities of Business and Race.  Gravely is a leading authority on relationships between major corporations and minority owned firms.  He has advised the nation's leading corporate brands and worked with hundreds of entrepreneurs over his career.  Known as a plain spoken and high energy speaker, Mel will use the story of his own business journey to highlight what really matters most in entrepreneurship.
